Our Lake
The Bear Stand is gently situated on the wildly wonderful shores of Contau Lake, Haliburton County. Part of the Trent-Severn Waterway, Contau is a small, mostly shallow lake with marshy inlets, granite headlands and pristine bays, ideal for canoe explorations, loon-spotting, cliffside swimming and rock jumping.
